New Year is a great time to reevaluate and set goals for the next year, this is what this post will be about, my goals for 2018.
I am starting my 2018 with a whole30, to reset my eating habits after the holidays. This is one of the things I want to improve in 2018 – my eating habits. Not only to lose weight, but to get more energy and feel more at home in my own skin.
I have been struggling with my relationship with food for my whole life, but a couple of years ago I got introduced to Paleo, and it helped me feel better, but under pressure I still fell back to my old ways. In July 2017 I did my first whole30, and I have never felt better, but still fell back into old habits, not as bad as before. But with the trip back to Denmark in November and the holidays, everything went sideways. So here I am 2nd round day 2, excited and fighting the cravings 😀
My goals for 2018:
- getting better at saying no to things that are not worth it (food, events…)
- getting better at prioritizing my exercise, because it makes me feel good
- start listening to my body and what it needs
- take alone time to recharge my batteries
These are all things I have worked on for years, but still need to improve. I find the whole30 a great tool to outlive some self love.
